Alpha Alpha Alpha Honor Society
The purpose of this organization shall be to recognize academic achievements in first-generation college students, create enthusiasm for scholarship, to promote leadership, and to provide support networks for first-generation students within and across college chapters.

African-American Heritage Society
The African-American Heritage Society is a non-profit organization whose mission is to collect, preserve, and interpret artifacts pertaining to Williamson County’s African American culture and increase understanding and appreciation of our heritage for future generations.

American Library Association
The mission of the American Library Association is to provide leadership for the development, promotion, and improvement of library and information services and the profession of librarianship in order to enhance learning and ensure access to information for all.

Dragon Con
Dragon Con is the largest multi-media, popular culture convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film in the US. Taking place over ever Labor Day weekend in Atlanta, Georgia, Dragon Con is THE place to be for fans of all things pop culture.

National Society of Black Engineers
The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is one of the largest student-governed organizations based in the United States. NSBE, founded in 1975, supports and promotes the aspirations of collegiate and pre-collegiate students and technical professionals in engineering and technology.
With more than 600 chapters and more than 24,000 active members in the U.S. and abroad, NSBE’s mission is “to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community."

National Technical Association
Originally established by African-Americans to confront discrimination and unequal opportunity, NTA today is an organization for all minorities, women, and youth pursuing technical careers. Today nearly half of NTA professional members are women, a testimony to the work throughout its years as an icon for excellence and diversity in America.

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
Since its founding in 1911, Omega Psi Phi's stated purpose has been "to attract and build a strong and effective force of men dedicated to its Cardinal Principles of manhood, scholarship, perseverance, and uplift". Throughout the world, many notable members are recognized as leaders in the arts, academics, athletics, entertainment, business, civil rights, education, government, and science fields

The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of Association
Commonly known as SFWA, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization of professional science fiction and fantasy writers. While SFWA is based in the United States, its membership is open to writers worldwide. The organization was founded in 1965 by Damon Knight under the name Science Fiction Writers of America. Active SFWA members may vote for the Nebula Awards, one of the principal English-language science fiction awards.

The International Web Association
Founded in 1996, the International Web Association (IWA), previously International Webmasters Association, a non-profit professional association, is the industries recognized leader in providing educational and certification standards for Web professionals. IWAs initiatives now support more than 100 official chapters representing over 300,000 individual members in 106 countries.
